Yulub and his Barbarians
Yulub Thrombold lives in a garden with his army of barbarians. The barbarians are overweight men in torn t-shirts and jean shorts, wearing ninja masks and carrying large plastic mallets. There are about 3 of them in his “army of death”. He tries to bring them with him when he goes on one of his “missions”, but usually they’re too tired or hung over to get out of bed.
Yulub Thrombold is a self described amateur grim reaper, and the aforementioned “missions” are usually just him and however many of his “army” he can round up going to the doors of people he doesn’t like to try to convince them they are dead. He doesn’t carry a scythe and he doesn’t carry a cloak, but he does have a bad attitude and a huge ego. One of his greatest joys is intimidating other people. Lately though, he’s been having some serious difficulty doing so, as people don’t usually take him at his word that he’s the grim reaper. Especially when his primary method of intimidation is to get in people’s faces and sneer. While that type of thing might be intimidating to some in certain circumstances, it is not one of the grim reaper’s principal methods.
It is not surprising then, that his “missions” are usually failures. Yulub does not take failure well. He is a very self-destructive person and he immediately cries, and then tries to bury his tears in booze. This is the real reason his “barbarians” spend any time with him, because he will usually take them drinking with him when he fails, and he usually pays.
